The METO and LOIMU as a members of the UEF, has the pleasure to invite you to the XXIV UEF Governing Council Meeting 2022.
This time the venue will be in south Finland,  in Tuusula, from Thursday 9^th  to Sunday 12^th  of June 2022.
The  Council Meeting will take place at the Hotel Gustavelund in Tuusula, located about 10 km from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport.

A seminar on “The four pillars of sustainable forestry – economic and social pillars in Focus”  will take place on morning 10th of June.

We expect your registrations to the Governing Council Meeting and the Seminar not later, than 25^th of May.

The Presidency of UEF has decided to promote the participation of forestry students from the member organizations, by sponsoring one student per organization with a reduction of the participation fee with 50%. Applications for this reduction should be sent by the same date as the registration for the GCM to the treasurer of UEF, Mr. François-Xavier Nicot, France , by e-mail: francois-xavier.nicot[at]onf.fr.   

Please mention in the application the name of the student that will participate from your organization.

Now is the time for you to fill in the registration form for the Governing Council Meeting and send it to us. To register you can fill in the Registration form.

Participation fee

The fee per person for participating in the whole programme from Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th of June in a double room (singular beds, or king bed as required), starting with dinner Thursday night and ending with breakfast Sunday morning is 600 EURO.

Accommodation in a single bed room (or double room single use) is 650 EURO for the whole program too.

All bus transfers are included from Thursday till Sunday.

Arrival/Departure – Transfer

Transportation to the event will be given to all participant from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (int. code HEL) to Hotel Gustavelund at Tuusula
Transport from Hotel Gustavelund will be provided back to Helsinki-Vantaa Airport.

Participants must give details for
a) estimated arrival in Helsinki Airport
b) flight time/numbers for departure flight.

We plan to pick you up on Thursday, 9^th of June, afternoon/evening in small groups, according to your arrival time.
Transfer from the airport to the hotel is approximately 15 min.
The welcome buffet dinner will start at 18.00.
