DEAR FORESTRY COLLEAGUES AROUND EUROPE!

CONAF (Consiglio dell’Ordine Nazionale dei Dottori Agronomi e dei Dottori Forestali), has the pleasure to invite you to the UEF Governing Council Meeting 2018.
This time the venue will be in south Italy,  in Calabria, in the National Park of Sila, from Thursday 27nd to Sunday 30th of September 2018.
The   Council Meeting will take place at the “Cupone Visit Center” of the National Park of Sila, in the township of Spezzano della Sila.
All guests will be hosted in the “Tasso Hotel” in the township of Camigliatello Silano, 10 km from the Visit Center.

A seminar on “Sustainable forest management for development and promotion of ecosystem services” will take place on morning 28th. of September.

We expect your registrations to the Governing Council Meeting and the Seminar not later, than 30^th of June.

The Presidency of UEF has decided to promote the participation of forestry students from the member organizations, by sponsoring one student per organization with a reduction of the participation fee with 50%. Applications for this reduction should be sent by the same date as the registration for the GCM to the treasurer of UEF, Mrs Anna Petrakieva, by e-mail: anpetrakieva@gmail.com   

Please mention in the application the name of the student that will participate from your organization.

Now is the time for you to fill in the registration form for the Governing Council Meeting and send it to us. To register you can fill in the Registration form at the bottom of this page.

Participation fee

The fee per person for participating in the whole programme from thursday 27th to sunday 30th of September in a double room (singular beds, or king bed as required), starting with dinner Thursday night and ending with breakfast Sunday morning is  300 EURO.

Accommodation in a single bed room (or double room single use) is 360 EURO for the whole program too.

All bus transfers are included from Thursday till Sunday.

Arrival/Departure – Transfer

Transportation to the event will be given to all participant from Lamezia Airport (int. code SUF) to Hotel Tasso in Camigliatello Silano
Transport from Hotel Tasso will be provided back to Lamezia Airport.
Participants must give details for
a) estimated arrival in Lamezia Airport
b) flight time/numbers for departure flight.

We plan to pick up Thursday 27^th September morning/afternoon/evening in small groups according to arrival time.
Transfer from airport to hotel is approximately 1.30 hour; welcome dinner will start at 19.30
