XXVII UEF Governing Council Meeting, Germany

The Association of German Foresters (BDF), as a member of the UEF, is delighted to extend an invitation to the 2026 UEF Council Meeting.

This year, the event will take place in Germany’s capital, Berlin, from Thursday 22 October to Sunday 25 October 2026.

The seminar and the UEF Council meeting will take place on Friday 23 October 2026 at the Haus der Landwirtschaft und Ernährungswirtschaft (HdLE) (of Agriculture and Food Industry), Claire-Waldoff-Straße 7, 10117 Berlin.

All guests will be staying in Mercure Hotel Berlin City, Invalidenstr. 38, 10115 Berlin.

(A 12-minute walk from Berlin Central Station; (2 tram stops, 8 minutes).

The conference venue, the House of Agriculture and Food Industry (HdLE), is a 13-minute walk away or approximately 7 minutes by underground (one stop away).

On Friday, 23 October 2026, at 09:30, a morning event will take place featuring presentations and panel discussions on the topic: “EU Nature Restoration Regulation (NRL).

We would very much welcome some brief statements (up to 5 minutes) from our members on this topic.

In the afternoon, at 2.00 pm, the UEF’s GCM meeting will take place

For accompanying guests, a superb and special cultural programme featuring sightseeing and lunch will be offered on Friday, 23 October 2026.

We will round off Friday evening with a ‘SAUVESPER’ (barbecue) in the Berlin Forests.

On Saturday, 24 October 2026, we will hold the ‘Field Day’ in the forests around Berlin. We have been invited by the Berlin Forests to explore the woodlands surrounding Berlin.

The farewell dinner will take place on Saturday evening at the House of Agriculture and Food Industry (HdLE).

Registration is exclusively via the registration form on the UEF website. To help the organisers with their planning, please register as soon as possible, but no later than 28 August 2026.
