13th edition of the Winter Forest School Polish forestry in the face of EU policy challenges
Monday, March 13 , 2023 310
The UEF vice-president Tomasz Markiewicz will participate in the 13th edition of the Winter Forest School. The school will take place from 14 to 16 of March 2023, in Sekocin Stary, Poland.
The Winter Forest School, organized by the Polish Forest Research Institute and General Directorate of State Forest is an annual meeting, where Polish foresters and scientists discuss the most important topics in forestry. Every forest school is dedicated to a different main topic; the nearest one will be dedicated to: „Polish forestry in the face of EU policy challenges". The aim of the School is to share with the foresters the results of scientific studies, discuss "hot" and problematic topics and share examples of practical solutions from other countries. In our opinion this school should give the participants (foresters) theoretical knowledge about important issues and provide opportunity to discuss it.
