GCM in Denmark 2007 - second announcement

Registrations possible until 1st of August - but without guarantee of staying at the Hotel
Dear colleagueNow is the time to register to a great summer meeting with forester colleagues from all over Europe. Due to hotel reservations in a busy summertime in Denmark it is imperative to get all participants registered as soon as possible. So we kindly ask you to spend your first given moment to use the online registration form found on UEFs homepage. The meeting will be held on the 29th of August - 2nd of September 2007 in Herning, Denmark. The seminar part of the meeting will be a "European seminar on Urban Forestry". The organisations are also invited to have a maximum 10 minutes presentation about their national urban forestry during the seminar. More details about this possibility in the programme .
The price per person for participating in the GCM and the seminar will be 650€ in double rooms and 800€ in single rooms. This includes all costs including the transport to/from either Billund or Karup Airport but not to/from Copenhagen Airport or abroad. It is possible to shorten the participation period with a possible reduction of the participation fee. Students' participation
The Presidency of UEF has decided to promote the participation of forestry students from the member organizations by sponsoring one student per organization with a reduction of the participation fee with 50%. Applications for this reduction should be send by the same date as the registration for the GCM to the secretary of UEF, Mr Marian Stoicescu, by email fed_silva@b.astral.ro. Please mention in the application the name of the student that will participate from your organisation.
We hope that the information about this meeting will be efficiently spread among the members in your organisation for a high amount of participators in this annual meeting of Union of European Foresters.
