A French forest trip to Bulgaria

Monday, October 05 , 2015 8755

At the begining of October, a French forest school, situated in Annecy (Haute Savoie) had a tour in Bulgaria to discover the Bulgarian forests and forestry.

This trip was organized by Anna Petrakieva, Assistant secretary of UEF, and Nasko Iliev, professor in the Forestry University in Sofia.

More than 30 students and 3 teachers from the ISETA school could travel all around Bulgaria, from Sofia to Sofia, during 10 days, from 3 to 12 of October.

They were kindly welcomed and guided by Bulgarian foresters, mainly from the Executive Forest Agency and could enjoy the Bulgarian life style.

It's a new start in the relationship between French forests schools and Bulgarian foresters.

UEF is happy to facilitate this visit and thanks all the Bulgarian foresters who made this forest trip a success.
