Foresta2021 and the European Forest Week

Experts, policy-makers, business leaders and national delegates gather at Foresta2021 and European Forest Week that is taking part from 22 to 25 November 2021. The aim of the forum is to discuss strategic solutions for the future of forests.
Among the topics of the sixth European Forest Week are the urban and peri-urban forest ecosystems, non-wood forest products, career opportunities for forestry graduates, European cooperation to prevent great forest fires and how wood could be used for carbon capture and storage technology.
Foresta2021 is the joint session of the UN Economic Commission for Europe’s (UNECE) Committee on Forests and the Forest Industry (COFFI) and the Food and Agriculture Organization’s (FAO) European Forestry Commission (EFC).
