A new UEF position paper about the new EU forest strategy
Tuesday, March 02 , 2021 3491

The Union of European Foresters adopted a new position paper: " European forestry needs a strong new EU forest strategy to fight Climate Change and support the Green deal successfully".
In the really interesting background of the European Green Deal and the discussions about the new European forest strategy and the new European biodiversity strategy, UEF takes a clear position and asks for some important changes in the EU policies.
This position paper was sent to the EU Commission authorities, our partners, our members and forest stakeholders.
UEF, as a partner and constructive representative of the European professional foresters, will explain these positions and make people aware of them.
You can download it and spread it all around Europe.
UEF organization members are kindly asked to translate it in their national language and spread it around their countries.
