UEF attended in Brussels the meeting of the Civil Dialogue Group on Forestry and Cork

The second meeting in 2015 of the Civil Dialogue Group on Forestry and Cork took place on the 8th of December in Brussels.
Main topics of the agenda have been the implementation of the EU Forest Strategy, the Sustainable criteria for biomass, the mid-term review of the EU Biodiversity Strategy and the state of play of LULUCF.
At this meeting Mr. Budil (CEPF) has been elected as the new chairperson of the CDG.
As Vice chairpersons Ms. Zuidema (EEB-BEE) and Mr. Albizu (CEPI) were elected.
Congratulation to the new chairpersons and many thanks to Juha Hakkarainen (Copa-Cogeca), who chaired the Advisory Group for many years in a very professional and sucessful way.
