Presidency meeting and visit of the Expo 2015 in Milano, Italy

The UEF Presidency had its latest meeting on 8 and 9 of June in Milano, the capital of Lombardia.

On Monday 8 of June, the Presidency members worked in an efficient way on all the topics of the day:

UEF Projects (workshop on forest pedagogy, and international fieldtrip "Wind energy on forest sites");

Past and upcominig meetings on  European level;

UEF position on important issues;

Preparation of the next UEF Governing Council Meeting in Poland at the begining of September;

UEF students forest workcamp in July in Poland

Communication and financial matters etc.

A nice dinner was shared with Mattia Busti, member of the Presidency of CONAF-Italia, UEF member organization and another Italian colleague.

On Tuesday 9 of June, the UEF Presidency was welcomed at the CONAF-World Agronomists Association pavilion in the Expo 2015 by Italian foresters and agronomists, volunteers during the Expo.

A whole guided tour of the pavilion was offered to the Presidency members and they met the Italian members of the CONAF-Italia Presidency.

A short visit to the rest of the Expo allowed the Presidency members to discover the attractivity and variety offered by this Expo around: "Feeding the planet, energy for life" .
