Nice GCM in Nessebar BG

Wednesday, October 15 , 2014 6346

The UEF 18th Governing Council Meeting was held from 9 to 12 October in Nessebar Bulgaria

This fruitful UEF annual meeting, with 14 member organizations and 10 countries represented, was organized by our Bulgarian member: the Union of Bulgarian Foresters.
Nessebar is located on the seaside of the Black Sea. After an interesting seminar about "Sustainable management of forests under various types of ownerships", the GCM offered a whole overview of the achievements of the UEF Presidency since the Saariselkä Congress last year in Finland. A wonderful fieldtour in the Strandja nature park included a European forest planting. More information soon on our homepage, with all the material presented.
