A new joint statement about EU biodiversity strategy 2030

UEF is directly associated in a new joint statement from the European forests and forest-based sector’s representatives.

 

This document was sent to the European Commission authorities on the framework of the current process about the European Biodiversity Strategy 2030. 

 

This joint statement was signed by:

  • Confederation of Woodworking Industries - CEI Bois
  • Confederation of European Forest Owners - CEPF
  • Confederation of European Paper Industry - CEPI

  • European Landowners Organisations - ELO
  • European Organisation of the Sawmill Industry - EOS
  • European State Forest Association – EUSTAFOR
  • Fédération Européenne des Communes Forestières - FECOF
  • European Federation of the Parket Industry - FEP
  • Forest-based sector - Technology platform
  • Union of South European Sylvicultors - USSE
  • Union of European Foresters - UEF

 

This new joint statement stressed the importance of the EU forest sector's role in ensuring sustainable forest management and conserving biodiversity.
